Terms and Conditions
The contract has been accepted by both parties
Quotations shall apply for 30 days from the date entered
A minimum deposit of 50% is required before the ordering of goods
Toast has the right too add an extra charge to the invoice for extra work requested by the customer
Toast promises to carry out the work specified in the contract, as soon as possible
Samples of natural materials can have slight colour or mineral changes. This is beyond the control of Toast
All chimneys must be swept before work commences, if the customer has had their own sweep then a certificate must be supplied
Any changes to the contract must be confirmed by email
All goods remain the property of Toast until the balance is cleared. Balances are due soon the completion of the contract and any demonstration or hand over completed
If Toast Chimney sweep is fitting the customers own goods, proof of purchase must be provided
A call out charge of £50.00 can be asked for if on arrival the chimney cannot be swept due to fitted gas fire that has no access to the flue
Payment Structure
Payments for chimney sweeping by Toast chimney sweep can be made by the following method.
Cash or card payment via contactless terminal.
Payments for deposits and balances above £500.00 Toast Chimney sweep will recommends payment by credit card, which gives the customer protection under section75 of the Consumer Credit Act. If a bank transfer method is chosen the invoice will indicate the payment is unprotected.
Complaints Procedure
In the unlikely event of the contract developing into a complaint situation between Toast Chimney sweep and the customer, the following procedure should be put into operation.
The first complaint should be raised verbally between Toast and the customer. At this point and dispute should be resolved
If there is no resolution to the dispute then a full breakdown of the complaint should be raised via email and responded to by Toast Chimney sweep within 5 working days
Toast Chimney sweep will arrange a convenient date to come round to view and/or the situation within 28 days
Both parties are welcome to get independent advice
In the unlikely event Toast chimney sweep is unable to resolve the complaint having exhausted the business complaint procedure, it maybe necessary to use the mediation service provided by Hetas
Supporting Vulnerable Customers
Toast Chimney sweep Identifies with any individuals who, due to their personal circumstances and characteristics is significantly more likely than an average person to be at risk or harm; Particularly in connection with how a firm deals with them, or where the nature of their vulnerability its likely to result in a more substantial risk of harm.

Would like to know in advance of anybody in the household who has an underlying condition which maybe affect by this. As a general rule I ask to be left alone while my work is being carried out.
Customers sensitive to noise will be advised when a vacuum cleaner, drills or hammering is about to start.
When extension cables are in use the customer is advised of a possible trip hazard
